Mt. Sarobar is an active volcano in the Northeast corner of the Duchy. it is responsible for the fertile soil that gives the Duchy her name. It is said that within it's cone lies a massive Chaos Gate which is guarded by an undead keep. In November 606, the volcano showed signs of activity by emitting large volumes of ash. The sky was so thick with ash, it was hard to tell day from night and even undead were able to walk during the day. This ash activity ceased in February 608.
