Various armor sites

Postby Audrey on Wed Jul 22, 2009 4:47 am

Hey guys figured this was the forum to do this. So here’s some armor links for anyone who is interested. Most of them are in the US so no need to convert to Euros or Pounds. I’m not a fan of the generic pickle barrel armor so I just left all of those out for now. Ill, keep adding more but these are the ones I’ve dealt with most so I know their stuff isn’t janky.

Armor (mostly leather)

Bits and pieces of armor and costume, all three are pretty much the same. By the sword has a more diverse selection IMHO.

Leather armor and tidbits

Sweet leather armor, a bit pricey now. This is where I got my greaves back in the day.

Pretty unique selection, im unaware of production times

Nice stuff if you are looking for plain armor to style up yourself.

Wolfgaard armory, their site has been down for a number of years, but I guess they are floating around here. They have some sweet stylized leather armor

Polyurethane, painted armor (UK)

I have the impression this is the source craftsman for polyurethane pieces at medievalcollectibles.com and bythesword.com

Everything. Very similar to medievalcollectibles.com, bythesword.com, and darkknightarmory.com - may be a sister company.

That is correct, but fair warning - I ordered from them directly, and had a horrible time actually getting the product into my hands. Something about someone going on vacation and losing track of my order and having to redo it, but I got it literally months after they said it would be done (which was a good month after I ordered it). You might be better off going through one of the intermediaries and letting them deal with the hassle.
